well to be honest, the vita hasn't really taken off yet. The news of pokemon along with all of the other games coming to 3DS definitely isnt going to help. I think the handheld game isnt really a sony thing.

unfortunately true, PSP did a good job, and while Vita specs are much stronger Than 3DS, it cant compete with its price to 3DS or Smartphones/Tablets!!! Software is amazing and Vita cant have a bad 2nd year especially when they drop the price!

Sales for the Vita will pick up but as for beating the 3DS I dont think so, its 2 well established

I think I'll make bunting saying "NINTENDOMINATION!" With pictures of Mario and friends for the 3DS this year =D after all, we here in Britain have no Olympics or Jubilee to hang bunting for this year... *sigh*

This year the 3DS will easily sell 20+ millions.

Ps: And besides all those games, don´t forget about Zelda. Im sure it will be a Zelda for the 3ds this November

I would like a Vita this year because it's "dead sexy" and Persona 4 is now out. However if the announcements made prior to yesterday by Nintendo put them out in front, the announcement of Pokemon X and Y just shut the door in Sony's face. Merry F'in Christmas indeed.

But if Sony can pull it off, what an amazing year this will be for real handheld gaming.
