Why would they need a reason to choose Wii U over PS360? I don't get the logic. For example, when I bought my Wii 6 years ago, it wasn't matter of "choosing over", as I wasn't getting PS3 or 360 anyway. If Wii had been Gamecube 2, I hadn't bought it either.

Wander_ is right. Six years ago during Wii launch we had a Zelda released, have seen 3D Mario, a new Metroid and SSB. There was hype because of actual games, no promises.

We know those games are coming, but you cannot pretend is the same situation.

Why?  You afraid there won't be a Zelda game for the Wii U or something?  Even though they've already shown us a Zelda tech-teaser last year and Zelda on Wii U is as likely as Halo 5 on the NextBox, aka 100% guaranteed?
