Now youre just making stuff up about Microsoft to justify what Google does. Stuff that microsoft tracks and what Google tracks is completely different and for a completely different purpose. Not to mention that you can opt out of Microsoft tracking and can't really opt out of Google if you use a single service they provide.

You're complaining about the tracking advertising based off of said tracking. And unless you were joking just a minute ago, then you are making stuff up as well, or to put it more accurately, making claims that you can't prove.

Lol, dude I work in online advertising and have been using DFP, Adwords, admob sdk and other google advertising products for almost 10years. I know exactly what google tracking capabilities are and what they have access to being the advertising monopoly that they are. In the advertising industry google is essentially a player and a referee at the same time.

There are many ways google tracks user data and then sells it to advertisers. Google analytics is one way...hence why its free. However if you want to see google user tracking at its best, go to google with chrome and search for "older women cougars". Click on a few sites you get... And then over the next few weeks enjoy ads for older women dating anywhere you go on your machine. Have your mom use your computer and see what she thinks about the ads you are getting.

Actually, that opt-out doens't mean a lot. You can't see the source code to be sure that there isn't any other tracking type here, so we can't be 100% certain about what is going on there.

Anyway, that isn't a correct (and legal) attitude from Google. They only fixed it because EU would surelly retaliate, but they probably will create more problems in the next months with other services. Anywa, I have a WP and only used Bing Maps and Google Maps using a third party app (gMaps Pro, pretty good, by the way), since using a map with the browser is terrible on a phone. I live in Brazil and I don't know how is Bing Maps in other countries, but here it isn't very good. It doesn't have the locations of any store, restaurant or any other thing here, so I have to use the full adress and that is just terrible compared to Google Maps.

People love MS and Apple too, both have lots anti competitive behavior written in their history and more. So yeah, weird world.

News flash, everyone. Apple, Google, Samsung, Microsoft, et al all use under-handed practices to get ahead. The only thing they care about is money.

Hey any MS fans that love MS and hate Google for being shady just use Bing, you wont though cause Bing sucks for everything except free Xbox live points and amazon credits.
