News flash, everyone. Apple, Google, Samsung, Microsoft, et al all use under-handed practices to get ahead. The only thing they care about is money.
Just buy what you like and get on with it. Today, Apple is the evil monolith. Tomorrow, it will be Google. Yesterday, it was Microsoft. Ho hum, the world keeps spinning.
