Sony's own games often are have a reduced "rrp" at PSN though (probably still higher than real UK retail prices), so I guess the other publishers are just not happy with their games being cheaper as downloads

So, from AlphaCielago's comment I gather it's a retail game up for download. Much like most of Nintendo's 1st party stuff. I mean, you can download Mario Kart 7 as well, and for full price, right? Only makes sense. Wouldn't really make sense for a boxed game in other regions to sell for a tenth of its price overseas, now would it?

They said it would be $29.99 long ago. the point was that Unchained Blades is a digital only versino of a retail game from Japan. If you followed the game at all before release, you wouldn't be at all surprised by the price. In any case, I look forward to playing this soon. I've been waiting for it for quite some time and it looks great!
