Fido said: Well Europe has mostly been a bit slow with adapting to new consoles except with the playstation branding. and even that has slowed down a lot since PS3 days and even more with Vita. The WiiU is nowhere near from supply constraint, you can find them anywhere in both versions and some stores even give discounts already. But i don't think that means the console will flop, it's just that the competition offers the better deals at the moments with much more affordable hardware and more and bigger software. Plus Nintendo did a crappy job with the Wii Brand for the last 2 years, no games, no advertisment, people forget fast if you don't keep your product attractive! The Wii U ads are not good either, i still constantly meet people who think its just an add-on for the Wii and not a new console! They really have to work on that! But when the price comes down a little and more games are available, i think they will be fine. Below the golden Wii levels, but just fine! |
Most sensible thing ive read this thread, dont know why some are adamant about this whole supply constraint thing. Europe just aint biting right now, its not a big deal. ANd LOL to Pikmin, thats not going to do much, that is not a system mover. neither is LCS or Wonderful 101, the only game that i could see helping Wii U in Europe is Rayman since they seem to love it over there. But even then, that is a wild card as that game is rumored to be a timed exclusive
