Back in 2007 the 360 was 399$ i got it cuz of all the 3rd party exclusives like Dead Rising,Saint's Row,BioShock,Mass Effect, i didnt wanna get a ps3 because it was to damn expensive and didnt have any game i want i basically hated the ps3 back than i thought it would get dicuntinued , 1st Xbox rroded 2nd one rroded so when 3rd one broke i just said screw it and baught a ps3 still working BTW, Dont act like you only had one Xbox, And yes i played online may i ask why?

I have had 360 since launch, 2005, 1 RROD, replaced free of charge within a week by the excellent warrant replacement service.

LMAO i was being sarcastic when i said doodokaka, i only paid for XL once and that was in feb/2007 i think. i subscribed cuz of all the things i keep hearing about it but at the end i was disappointed cuz i didn't find anything awesome about it. iv never been an online gamer so i didn't care.

But your ID would be the same, online or not, going into 2008. What was your ID? You admit you played in 2008 now right? I mean, you must have due to mass effect, right?

As an Xbox 360 owner I am unsure wether to get the nextbox. On the plus side it has great exclusives. Mainly Halo and Gears (exclusives that I enjoy) However will this be enough to get me to buy one? Maybe. If it gets multiplats that I am interested in that the WiiU wont get then its prabable that I will buy one. After all the only reason I got a 360 was so that I could play RE5.

However if its too expensive then I will be unlikely to get one.

Have you even used an Xbox. You still sign in with your ID. So when you say you didn't go online for 6 years. It's irrelevant. You still signed in during 2007 and 2008. But you've forgotten your ID? Weak.

2) Stop bickering about this and just drop it. It is honestly no concern of any of yours whether or not he owned a 360. Feel free to discard his opinion and consider him a liar if you don't think he did.

As for the topic, it really depends. It would be in addition to the PS4 rather than as a replacement, just because of all of the Sony franchises that I love. So probably later in the generation when it's a little bit cheaper and has a good number of exclusives to differentiate it.

It's certainly too early now when we know practically nothing about the system.

Oh, and if it uses Kinect as a primary/sole control system, that's an instant "no" from me.

I'm pretty sure i won't get the next console from Microsoft, they just don't offer the games i like and i'm against paying for online gaming. I think i'll get the PS4 and maybe maybe the rumored steam console. Probably not though cuz i just don't understand how some gamers find the time to play on multiple consoles.

Seeing as I'd have to pay for online (unless they change the model for Nextbox, but why would they?), the IP's don't interest me and the rest is multiplatform anyways - probably no

lol it's not that i don't want to it's just that next tot gaming i have a partner, friends, family and other commitments which demand their own attention and time.

Not sure why anyone would buy a 720 if they didn't buy a 360 if MS continues the same trends they've been doing.

People who didn't buy a 360
- Didn't like that the exclusives were mainly shooters.
- Didn't want to pay to play online.
- Bought a PS3 because of blu-ray, free online and other exclusives (though the 720 may have blu-ray...)
- Said it was too expensive when they owned other systems (Not sure what price point they would want? But It would be years before the next system hits $200 or less with a hard drive)
- Didn't like that a good amount of future games were heavily Kinect based and/or greatly influenced by Kinect

I don't see those things changing with the 720. Why would MS allow free online gaming when millions of users per year pay for Live? I could see them lowering the price if subscriptions fell, but no way would they remove it.

The majority of the systems best sellers are shooting games, and Microsoft's biggest IP is a FPS. Why would they make other types of games when they failed in sales ? (Don't forget MS pushed hard with JRPGS at one point: Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Tales of Vesperia which were all below expectations in sales.)

Kinect. MS has heavily invested in the Kinect tech and despite the outcry of most hardcore gamers a lot of games come with Kinect like features now and MS still trolls the fanbase with the "Better with Kinect!" tagline.

I am a MS fanboy at heart. I bought the original XBox four months after launch and the 360 one month after launch. I plan on doing the same with the 720, but I can see why no one would want to buy one and I can't see how MS is going to lure PS3/Wii owners to buy one this time around if they didn't before. But that's just me.



It's just that simple.
