I've never found Yoko to be attractive for some reason, she's more of a "Best bud!" kind of person, but not "girlfriend" , which is a really good thing , even though she's obviously the sex symbol of the anime.

it's pretty damn awesome, in a cheesy melodramatic anime way. It's just great fun to watch, with some great (cliche) character arcs. It's got a sense of humor and doesn't give a fuck about physics but it can also go for the heart strings from time to time as well.

Reading a discription it may sound like it would just be a mess, but the show manages to pull it all off with style.

If you have ever seen Megas XLR, imagine that with a proper (but still a bit crazy) narrative and a bigger more interesting cast of characters. Oh and more giant robots and insanity, all through a Japanese lens.
