A few comments:

1) You should think carefully when designating someone as a person with a lot of ego.

2) I don't think you understand natural selection; You can't die because of natural selection except perhaps if you are genetically weaker than the average entity in your gene pool. Considering the vast expanses of time this requires to happen, the stability of the human gene pool at present, and my life predicament as of now, I'm certainly not a straggler as you implicitly suggest.

3) You are stating that person who is (as I am) gradually practicing self-sustenance by growing their own food, stocking up on grains, catching rain-water and generating their own electricity is MORE likely to perish in the face of a world calamity than the average Joe who chomps down McD's a few times a week, is totally dependent on the frail infrastructure of his nation, and can't even grow some friggin' peas!?

4) You're circling the drain and aiming for a low blow, subconsciously hoping that somone here will empathize with you, and in so doing give you the useless support that's required to embarrass someone in a forum like this. Sad thing is that it could actually happen.

It's quite pathetic when someone uses the fact that a particular animal engages in some activity to somehow justify human activity. Of course that's just happening indirectly here; He's actually trying to indicate some truth about the animals consciousness (or lack thereof) by his behaviour.

Clearly this topic hasn't been pondered before.

A little thought will reveal that a baby is consciouss, yet has almost zero ability to discriminate between the proper and improper consequences of his actions. We conclude that all consciouss beings aren't required to act on the same principles. Therefore the fact that the shark is hardwired to be a killing maching does most certainly not indicate a lack of consciousness.

You see, the shark sees.

You hear, the shark hears.

You smell, sharks smell.

You taste, sharks taste.

You feel, sharks feel.

You think, the shark thinks.

Now you want to exclude self-perception from the shark!? YOU DAMN FOOL.

exactly why i stopped responding. like arguing with a brick wall... but this one doesn't see how hes hypocritical and wrong and uses falcies in his arguments then says "prove me wrong"

I knew what this threaad would be once i heard the guy in the video say meat was an addiction. However, id stiill had hope the OP didn't completely buy into the bullshit. I was wrong and the OP is just closeminded now without listening to anything other than the propaganda animal rights activists spew

yeah, the biggest problem is that they equal eating meat with animal cruelty to randomly accuse everyone. achievement? none whatsoever apart from making them feel better about themselves.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this thread highlights why people screaming meat eaters are wrong will never be listened to. You're fanatical, illogical and in some cases blatantly wrong and ignorant of the facts if they don't suit your cause.

I've shown you why a shark doesn't have self consciousness, you didn't prove the opposite before you stated high fiving each other.  Show me the behaviour a shark exhibits that demonstrates its self consciousness.  Zero made the claim originally and hasnt provided any proof at all.  

I think the "High fiving" over the unproved point isn't the main issue in this thread at all, I think the faux enlightened hate speech tho is, you can wrap up your posts in any manner of wording you like DrGrass all you've done throughout this whole thread is insult people who are having a disscussion and in one instance straight up threaten someone for countering an "argument" of yours, It's horrible to see and nothing else.

Regardless of what message anyone tries to convey if you do it wrapped in such spite and hatred of others you only do damage to your image and to your argument, before you click submit on your next reply on the 4th or whenever you are allowed to do so, just read over the post yourself, surely you have the enlightened intellect to know if what you are about to reply with is aiming to convey a message, or insult the person you are talking to.
