What gave the best performance/most liked/ best delivery in the series?

Obviously REmake is the best in terms of horror and survival
for me it would be REmake> Resident evil 0> Residnt evil2> Resident 4> Revelations

The RE with best visuals is RE 0

For me it would be 3 overall. Nemesis is just one of those bosses that come once in a generation, and it was the first game that really sold me the gaming medium, as something that is worthy to surpass the movie industry when it comes to scares. There was never a boss and I doubt that ever will be, who is so persistant to catch you, and you feel the dread every time he arrives, or you think he will arrive.

Gameplay wise 4 edges it out, but seeing just how far that game pushed the PSone is just mindbogling to me, even today. IMO it was the Uncharted/Halo of today, when it comes to technical marvels

as much as i love the old series (1,2,3,0) ill go with 4, Great gameplay and so much f-ing fun IMO!

I liked Code Veronica Best... Not sure why.. I just enjoyed it most...

Resident Evil 4 is first for me, with the outstanding RE remake for the Gamecube a close second.

I REALLY wanted a remake.

The jump from the original RE on the PS1 to REmake on the GC was huge...just imagine the jump from the original RE2 to a console that´s FAR more powerful than the GC (NextXbox, Wii U, PS4) *drools*

Resident Evil 2 for me, I really like that one :D I think it was the first one I played too and I still listen to some of the soundtracks from the game on YouTube every now and then.

A remake for PS4 would be so freaking good :O.

i had the most fun with resident evil 4 , but for the weirdest reason,
i'm mexican so i speak spanish (duh), and the thing is ,the ganados
speak in spanish and they say the most hilarious things , i had fun quoting them with my cousin
and making fun of the silly insults they say hahah now i want to play it again
by the way i finished it like 15 timeas easily (or more)
