What this has essentially done is turned 300+ million iPhones into Xbox handhelds (along with the 100m Windows devices which are already using Xbox games). Pretty amazing!

Of course, this game is playable on the very fist generation of iPhones, right? Otherwise this would be an erroneous statistic.

Not sure what you're getting at...

I'm getting at the fact that 300 million is the number of total iPhones sold across all generations. I very highly doubt that this game supports play on any pre-3GS iPhones, which means that all 300 million iPhones have NOT become XBox handhelds.

I should think you would, seeing as it's your thread, and this throws your claim off by at least 25%.

No it doesn't. 250m+ 3GS-onwards iPhones have been sold, so it throws my thread off by a maximum of 12.5%. Anyway, in a few months there'll be well over 600m Xbox handhelds given that they're releasing in on iPad too.

Annnyway, WHO CARES? Seriously? Who the hell cares?!

wouldn't the more logical conclusion be that microsoft is now a third party developer?

Before that Sony will be a 3rd party developer in its way out.

Only then, Microsoft.

By this time next year there will be nearly 1 billion Xbox handhelds. This is a fantastic opportunity for MS!
