I present to you, the best thing ever: http://xbmc.org/

I read about your link. Do you use this for Nexus 7? It says it works with android, or do you use this with PC?

I tried it last week but for some reason I kept getting errors when I tried streaming with it. I saw some people saying Android 4.2 messed with it. Will try it again soon. I use this with PC mostly now as it is a great way to hold all of my TV shows/Movies etc. together and track what I've watched already.

The website said it should work now. Downloaded, but will not test it until later. Coolen.

HUh? elaborate!

It's a media center program that allows you to stream to the Xbox (or practically anything). Download it and see how it goes. It's far superior to TVersity imo

Wait: Isn't xbmc only an DLNA-client instead of a Server?

With as much problems as you are experiencing it would have probably been easier to buy it off Amazon on your 360.

you could give Vuze a look, it's mostly a torrenting program but it does also have a really good section for streaming media over your wifi network from pc > 360 the main issue with it is you need to start up your PC and the program before you can get access to all your content on the 360 every time, just kinda sucks for me because my PC is up 2 flights of stairs where my xbox is inside my ground floor sitting room.... if I wanted to go 4 flights of stairs before using a console I'd start up Kinect hah :D
Oh Vuze is pretty smart too if you have a bit of a dodgy streaming ability with your router has a converter for media so it would definitely work in SD on the Xbox where ever it is, but it is capable of streaming HD files too, just very much down to your own hardware.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Xbmc is great, I use it for my HTPC, haven't tried it to stream to my 360. I do know the 360 is picky about what fie types it plays, I don't remember what though.

Honestly, the easiest thing you can do is just stream from your PC. You don't need Xbmc to do it, just google it. Set up windows media center on your PC and you can easily stream right to your 360.

Came here to day this.  My Xbox will even turn on my PC to find the files to stream.  I had to do this for my Amazon movies before the app appearred.

It's also easy to by them on Xbox Video/Amazon or even Paramount/Sony and the Ultraviolet stuff (but haven't tried Ultra Violet yet.)

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!
