Mario Kart 64 - Online multiplayer with up to eight players.

and

F-Zero GX - Online multiplayer with up to 30 players

If someone ever gave me that, I'd never ask for anything ever again.

Aren't there emulators with online functionality? I know for sure that Dolphin allows you to play local multiplayer online (in SSBM for example), but I don't really know how it works. This way you could at least play with 4 players, still better than nothing :D

Yeah well, I sometimes use emulators to play Mario Kart 64 online. Problem is though that the speed is messed up (way faster than single player, just like it was on the original N64 version due to hardware issues) and as you said: the four player limit. I'm kind of surprised that no one has created an updated 8 player ROM yet, especially considerg there even is an Ocarina of Time 4-player - and a Super Mario 64 2-player ROM out. Oh well... At least the latter was released very recently so you never know.

I would Play F-Zero GX if I could, but my laptop is pretty shitty and I still own the original copy so I'll just settle with that for the time being.

(Since you are a new user I might need to point out that they do not allow linking to emulator sites on this site. Just a heads up :)

Thanks for the tip. I never intended to link you to a website, since this is a gaming community everyone should be able to find such things themselves. Always good to know, though :D OT: How about a Steam-/Cyberpunk Legend of Zelda? I'd totally buy it o.O

Banjo-Kazooie for me. A brand new, direct sequel to Banjo-Tooie. Maybe for Xbox 720?

Bring back the huge, interconnected worlds of Banjo-Tooie and embrace the platforming and collecting that made the original so great.

Lord of The Rings: Return of The King HD remake with 4 players online co-op!

new jet set radio for wiiu or vita!!!!

Fable

  • Higher Difficulty.
  • Better Story.
  • Better Menu system or rather a normal menu system that other games have.
  • The online stuff in the single player is cool but feels gimmicky. Improve that or remove it.

Uncharted

  • More stealth gameplay elements.
  • Higher difficulty.
  • A little more open and exploration or less shooting and other gameplay elements.

Fallout

  • Less bugs.
  • Better graphics.
  • More weapons.

Metroid Prime for Wii U

Focus on exploring 2-3 different planets with more regions and interconnectivity than previous entries. I should never be forced to use my ship to fly to a different area on the same planet. There should be at least two land-based entrances/exits.
Moar backtracking. Metroid without the best backtracking in the industy... is not Metroid.
Total focus on providing an atmospheric experience, not a cinematic one. The former is far more realistic and immersive.
Keep the story optional. I only need to know my motivation to progress. Everything else can be regulated to well-written objects scans.
Remember - this is a game for Metroid fans, not Halo fans. Outside of puzzling boss battles, combat should rarely be forced on the player.
Motion controls = optional.
Keep beam stacking. Beams are fine just being glorified keys. For combat, other element-based attacks (like ice missiles) are a suitable substitute.
Many revisions given to the Grapple Beam, Spider Ball, and Screw Attack abilities.
Quit the chatter. Only a few key characters should have speaking roles (a la Metroid Prime 2), and none of them are Samus.

Soo, you basically are talking about a mix of Metroid Prime 1 and Super Metroid? Great Idea, I really would like to see this happen :D

The idea is to bring together the best aspects of the three Metroid Prime games. But yes, it would end up somewhere between Prime and Super in terms of design.

Great ideas so far everyone. I guess I'll try my hand at this...

I'll start with Mario...
This would be an update on the 2D versions.
I'd really like to see some interconnectivity between levels...not just secret exits, but access to certains parts of levels that is only possible from a completely different level. I don't think the series has delved deep enough into the concept of a warp pipe, or of the sewer in general.

Also, power ups would affect enemies as well. A fire flower would make a normal koopa into a fire throwing koopa, mushrooms would make enemies grow, etc. This could lead to several different new power ups.

Finally, considering all the multiplayer in the games, I'd like to create power ups that can be used with all the characters...perhaps a mechamario (ala voltron), or maybe something like in chronotrigger where each ability adds to/changes the other (a fireball thrown at an iceblock creates a steamcloud).

Resistance

-Left4Dead style gameplay but with Chimeras instead.
-Perhaps a shooter RPG like Borderlands?
-Much improved graphics.
