Forums - Sales Discussion - When will Vgcharts fix the December numbers?

ioi is online now... I would assume he is adding the number and adjusting things...

We will see the fruit of his work shortly(I have to go to class at 3:00 est!!)

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Around the Network

NPD Uncharted data was quite a long way off, enough to put the game up to 900k. Sony recently said they sold 1.2m PS3s in Europe, VGC estimates 1.225m, so we were close there (taking 1st week December to 1st week Jan, same as NPD)

People are still debating if npd is more accurate than vgcharts? they were a MILLION off on cod4 and cod4 just passed halo 3 on live, while im sure both have errors, ioi would be best to keep adjusting numbers. Halo 3 was also like half off and mario was quite off as well, im sure all of the publishers would tell you that.

not to say he adjust them to npd, if he contacted activision and said their game just sold 500k in december they would probably laugh their asses off though, so im sure he will do the right thing and update the incorrect figures when he can.

Which is why this site is good, he will update numbers that were off, much better then lying to try and make the site look perfect.

Note: Some games in my collection are no longer owned, but have owned.

He'll make the changes when he can confirm the changes are as accurate as possible
