What happened? I went to bed and when I woke up XBLA won in a landslide!

So this is only arcade games vs. arcade games? PS1 classics and PSP games aren't included? And so for Nintendo's eShop, I assume the Virtual Console games will be excluded?

And PC games are excluded also, right?

If that's the case, then XBLA probably wins. However, when those other features and platforms are included, XBLA falls to fourth.

Ohh I see. 

But JayWood was talking arcade games only, so my additions are really outside the scope of the OP, and thus irrelevent.

Plus, Microsoft shouldn't be punished for being in the video game industry for a shorter amount of time than Sony or Nintendo.

It says right beside them exclusive.  On the top it says how many each has.

And def no.  XBLA has had more big name titles this year than PSN has had in the last 2.

Yes, but I would have preferred to have a list of only the exclusives listed - there are a number of psn exclusives I played and liked but that arent on that list as their metacritic score wasnt high enough (Infamous:festival of blood for one).

You may be right about more big name games but I personally havent heard much about any of those games other than Minecraft. 

FEZ, MCXBLA, Trials Ev, Hybrid and Deadlight got quite a lot of traction. If you own a 360, you could've seen a lot of Summer of arcade stuff. They're advertised well. 

Seeing as I dont have an xbox I will take your word for it. While I have heard of Fez and Trials, the other 3 I have never heard of before. And I still think there has been more attention and hype for psn games like journey and unfinished swan (even though this did not do great critically) than for the xbla games you and jaywood have listed.

He listed all the arcade games he could think of for each but was a bit sloppy with the PSN side of things :P

Unless there's some XBLA games hiding in the wings, he's going to have to remove the 'by a landslide' part once he gets round to adding the PSN games he missed!

Yes it was missing some from both sides which is what I find annoying because nobody is trying to help me out with the Xbox 360 side but I spotted a few that I missed.

Sorry this is for games this gen not games that has been around since the 90's.

And what happened is we had two people in here complaining that 20 games isn't enough so I had to change it to all 80's and above.  Not something I wanted to do because I was just comparing the best of the best so they could be debatable.
