If sony is that stubborn yes, the 4mil users that own a vita half of them are Sony Fans meaning with a launch year with only 4mil users unless something happens(price cut, free memory, bundled game) they wont even get 3quarters of what they sold in 2012.

We all know Uncharted sold very well (attach ratio shoud be close to 25%), AC doing good(bundled), COD uhhhh... What other big names are out there? God of War maybe???

Wow didn't realize tht! If true that means by years end it should be around 4.25-4.30mil then get slash by 300k which might lead to not having 4mil sold year 1 ouchhhh!

Wasn't it adjusted straight after? Didn't it also have to be adjusted up straight after Black Friday?

Comparing this thread to the 3DS 2013 sales thread shows that some people believe the Vita will outsell the 3DS next year.

I went with 9 mil, this is why. First, I predict a pricecut in the window between April and E3. Most probably by $50. Of course that is not enough to reach 9 mil, but I'm hoping for a MGS (please, let Phantom Pain be a MGS Vita game...) a second Uncharted, at least an announcement of a GTA for Vita. I'm also expecting a big title from Ubi next X-mas, considering ACIII:L is selling well. There should also be at least an announcement of a GoW for Vita.
I add to this a stronger lineup in Japan, the Soul Sacrifice, Killzone and Tearaway games and this should be enough to make people buy the console. I think the basic 199 Vita should come with a 4 GB card and 3 months of PS+. Big value for a gamer at next to no price for Sony.

10x less what Nintendo 3DS makes in 2013
