Its hard to see a positive outcome for the Vita, In Q1 of 2013 alone, Monster Hunter 4 and Dragon Quest VII will be released for the 3DS which will leave the Vita irrelevant. I can only see a decline until Final Fantasy X HD's release, and it will most likely never see the light of day due to Square Enix financials and Vita's low userbase. I'm going to say below 5 million if a price cut is not initiated.

Dragon Quest in a week or two will be in Japan's #1 pre order spot. As for MH4 Japan will be going crazy when that comes out. Is America getting MH4? or is it Japan Exclusive again?

Under 4mil. It already is € 150 in Europe. So, no need for an "official price cut" here.

Vita + LBP: € 159,99 (Vita at € 119,99). If anyone is interested. Go get one! http://www.amazon.de/Sony-PlayStation-Vita-Wi-Fi-LittleBigPlanet/dp/B009LL5BU8/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1355783750&sr=1-1

Great job we have over 500 votes! Still crazy a little over a quarter of the votes show it will sell less than 4mil. If it does that will put it in a bad position in 2014 with not even 8mil units sold WW.

America needs this, but great for Europe!

Where the hell is a deal like this in the UK!? Prices are still extortionate here.

Vita needs to stay at the $200 price point ASAP. Also did they stop the AC bundle where im at two gamestops said they sold theirs and wont get anymore (even thoughbits still holiday)

With a price cut it can reach the 8 millions, without it, maybe 5

I think I'm being optimistic with 5 million +. PSV is looking to sell below 4 million this year, and if follow the trend that PSP set before us, there should actually be a marginal drop in sales during the systems second full year on sale. So if it doesn't break 4 million this year, it probably won't next.

However, I think as people warm up to the PSV, sales might start to crawl up. Sony just needs to announce a few great exclusives, ICO level quality, during E3 2013, and maybe get an exclusive from Square Enix. It won't make a big jump, but I think it can break 5 million.

Damn! Sales will pass 4mil this year (needs 260k and we got 3weeks left [christmas weeks]) but if next year it sales 4 or even 5 that means its still not over 10mil in two years.
I personally think it will hold(price cut, Great Quality Games, Free or cheap memory) should sell over 6mil but if it doesn't dear lord sony will need help. I think with new gen console(s) coming including the wii u (especially in Japan where it gets horrible sales) it will hurt sales very bad! We'll see soon enough

PSV will pass 4 million lifetime sales this year, not annual. Annual sales are at 3,257k. It's 743k short of 4 million annual sales. Vita would need to sell 60% better for the 3 weeks left to make that number, and with sales for all consoles crashing post christmas, I just don't see that happening.
