First off let me say that it is a great console and the game pad is as advertised. The ability to play away from the TV has more than proven its worth day 1. I would rather have the U with the game pad than a console with a traditional controller with the extra cost to beef up the system. The pad brings just that much value. 

What the Wii U needs more than anything is a better battery to extend the playing time and some kind of USB attachment antena to boost the range of the pad. Maybe even if the console and pad can communicate over wifi with the same response time. That would be even better. I hope Nintendo is on it already. Maybe Nyko is on it. 

I wouldn't doubt if there doing this already. Nintendo just worrying about getting there hardware sold as of now, but nintendo always certainly does thing to help out its system!!!

EX: Wii motion plus for way better motion controls (accuracy)! New models like ds>ds lite>ds XL

Just hoping someone is on it becaus those improvements would really enhance the console. I guess they could call it Wii U range+.

What the Wii U needs is games.

it need games, and just to make it clear every console needs games, whether its from sony, ms, nintendo or valve. if nintendo gets good games on it then they wont have a problem selling it

Nintendo will never allow it to work over wi fi. In the future speeds will be fast enough but it would also take away sales from the 3DS.

Yea, I haven't seen any third-party commercials. Only Nintendo Land, NSMBU & Sing Party... Some core gamers may not think other titles are available, but those would be your less intelligent people (I know a few)

Example: I was playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on PC and an aquaintance said "Oh, PS3 has a Batman game too." I said, "Yeah, its the same game!" He replied, "Really?" Like he didn't believe me! (Idiots)
