Any freedom can be taken away if someone, or a small group of people decide to do something stupid. Simply crack open the Bill of Rights and check off every one of them as being potentially endangered.

I don't have a problem with the cameras. If people are going to drive stupidly, they deserve to be caught driving stupidly.

And America is certainly not the only country with these problems, I don't know where you got that idea. Anyway, nothing has been ruined for me. I use air travel about as often as I ever did. I've never gotten a ticket or caught by a camera, though I drive a bit more cautiously now. And I don't own any guns in danger of being taken away from me.

Sorry for your personal "misfortune" that has come to pass as a result of other peoples' actual tragedies. Maybe next time it will be really serious, like you might break a nail! Wouldn't that be dreadful?

well it's not the fiscal cliff. that could actually be a good thing.

i'd say, politicians showing thier true hand, motives, and agendas. i'd be more excepting if i new they weren't interested in helping the average american.

i could truly cope with that reality.
