Forums - Sony - Since AC:L is a success, which game should come from Ubisoft for the Vita?

well since selling 500K-1M on a nintendo platform isn't enough to convince developers, I doubt a bundled holiday game will convince developers to shift development resources.

lol fucking hell man this is getting rediculous! Ubisoft has already said they are happy with the sale numbers!

so can we just end the pointless bickering and guessing and stick to the topic at hand..that is what games should come from ubi?

Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars.

great game. I put close to a hundred hours into it on the 3DS. Would be a great addition to the vita's library. I hope they make a sequel.

Holy jeez. Is the game that long, or does it just have a lot of replay value?

Yah, it really is disgusting to open a thread to discuss(-ting) some stuff over here. people trying to downplay the success forcing others to defend, turning this thread to a consolewar within like 2 hours.

anyway, i really didn't think of might and magic: clash of heroes. This game was awesome! And it would work fantastic on the vita with touch controls. shouldn't be too expensive to develope either. but i don't want to see a port of the first title. better do a 2nd part and make it multiplat. but the main series would also work fine. i'd like the idea of playing it in multiplayer.

i was also thinking about From Dust 2. Touch controls fit perfect to the game! backside = lift, frontside = drop). Level Editor won't take much effort, since the game basically IS a level editor. Now add some more strategy like upgrading your towns and choose between being a good or bad god and this game would be a very cool download title. the first one was pretty successful, right?

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

You're the one who started a thread with an awful premise...

That A:CL did well... thanks to bundling... and that would mean that it would only make sense to port over another game.

Such a thing would only be true if they got another bundling deal.

If you would of just said "what other ubisoft games you would like to see."  Different story.

However you set up the thread specifically for that and made it on topic with the original faulty premise.

- Heroes of might and magic

I would probably have a heart attack. Not sure if it would work, but I would pre-order it in a heart beat.

Realistically speaking, Rayman Legends would be great

i can't imagine that heroes of might and magic would be this expensive to port. I'd buy it, just like you.

since you like the idea of heroes you could also like the settlers. but those two games just won't appear, they are too small.

HoMM5 can be pretty taxing hardware wise... generally needing a lot more then the recommneded  req recommend.

I can't imagine 6 would be better.

I don't see it happeneing unless they went with a Clash of Heroes type game.

Faulty premise on what? Ubisoft themselves stated that they are happy with the games sales, so shouldn't that mark the game as a success.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

On what i posted above.  It's like you didn't bother reading the last post you replied to.

Though to restate.  They are happy with the sales of their bundled game... successful because it was bundled.

Therefore, unless also bundled, why would this be any indicator or reason for them to bring one of their less popular franchises to the platform?

I wouldn't mind a Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon game at all. I'd probably most like a Prince of Persia game, since that's one of my favorite franchises.

But I hope Beyond Good & Evil 2 is a console title. However, if the only way it would get made is if it was a handheld title, then I'll gladly accept it on the Vita.

Because Ubisoft was happy will the games sales which accounts for both the bundled and standalone game. Which makes this game a success for Ubisoft. If Ubisoft was satisfied with the games sales then why shouldn't it be an indicator or reasons for them to bring other franchises to the platform?
