Forums - Sony - Since AC:L is a success, which game should come from Ubisoft for the Vita?

Release the next one, don't bundle it, lest see how it goes. Should be interesting.

Why would they do that? Bundling is a great way to increase awareness for you game. Especially for a new IP.(yes I consider this a new IP since Assasisn's Creed isn't really known on portables). Just stop it dude.

how many heave sold AC:L ???? anyone heave the sale the AC:L ??

About 490k so far with sales increasing steadily now each week.

soo poor for a Bundle game and big marketing from Sony and Ubi !!!!

failure of a big Title

What about all the 3rd party Wii U titles?

We must turn every thread in this site a Nintendo vs Sony vs Microsoft war?

I think for silly comments like that yes.  He is claming that 490k for a bundled game is poor (more of his knock on playstation/vita), but fails to  look at AC3 for the Wii U.  I am 100% certain that is a money losing venture for Ubisoft since it takes $1.3 million for the port and the games sales are barely registable.

AC:L it heave a 1 year Vita 4m  Sale m8 so u r wrong !! AC3 7 day Wii U 1m

Speak proper English. No one understands you.
Assassin's Creed 3 hasn't reached anywhere near 1 million on the Wii U.It's barely at 70k http://www.vgchartz.com/game/70620/assassins-creed-iii/Global/

Im quiting here.

i was also wondering.

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubisoft

Ok, i've read more and Ubi just did the publishment for Morrowind in France. So forget about TES.

@kowenicki

bundled, but still sold. i don't think ubisoft gives their game away for free, just to be in that bundle.

and i thought those bundles include download voucher's (at least in europe)?

Thats not really the point is it.

The point is that a new game was bundled and you are using this as evidence that Ubisoft will see this as great sales and move more franchises to Vita.  I dont think this evidences that at all. Not even remotely.  A game will need to prove itself on its own feet first and not rely on being a give away in a bundle.

Its a Vita game, and its proof that this gamer with the console are selling well. What more proof do you want? Im certain Ubisoft will try again, seeing that this game will be an easy million seller, even at retail... Also, considering it has a 7 avrege rating on Meta, its doing pretty damn well.

OT: SPlinter Cell, POP or Rayman. Hell Rayman Origins did pretty good numbers on the Vita, I wouldent be surprised if Legends will be ported.

I bought the AC Vita bundle even though I already had a Vita as Amazon had them for $179.00.  It was that price that moved systems and the game.  I don't however see this game as having any legs to it and think it's going to be hard pressed to reach 1mil.

Stop hating and start playing.

Do bundled game sales even count? Cause as far as i know they come with a digital download code and VGC doesn't track digital does it?

OT: i really want a new PoP game

I really wish we could ban xbox fanboys from sony threads, all they do is try and stir things up. :/

So? Sales are still very very good in the weeks after. Besides the Call of Duty bundled was discounted as well in the big retail stores like Gamestop and Walmart....

A sale is a sale Congratulate Sony/Ubisoft and move on.

It is a physical game cartridge. Like you said, VGChartz doesn't track digital sales/codes.
A sale is a sale no matter where it came from.

I just checked and its only the US version that has a physical copy in the bundle. Europe gets a download code.

this could also explain why it's doing better in US on VGC.

In Europe we get a code.

I was thinking about Heroes of M&M some time ago. Even a simple port from PC to cut the costs. It would be sweet, but not at this point in the console's lifecycle. They should port a PC version in 1.5-2 years, when the install base is big enough for this game to sell enough to justify the port. Oh, they could release HOM&M 3 just digitally. I know I would get it if it was the full package with all the expansions (like 7 of them?).

As of right now I think Vita needs the biggest guns. Obviously a sequel to AC is the first thing that comes to mind, especially since we'll have to wait for quite some time till they come up with AC on the next gen consoles, cause I think ACIII was the last one for this gen. I think Ubi should designate the Bulgarian studio to doing Vita games. With experience in 1 or 2 years they could give us something breathtaking! It would also be funny if we got Zombi Vita :) A port of Zombi U. I would lol hard if it sold better on Vita ;) Far Cry is the second title that could work. I just can't wait for the first good FPS game on Vita! Splinter Cell and Ghost Warrior would probably end near 250k at best. These games should come, but just not now, not with this install base. Ubi should wait with them until another system seller comes along. Vita needs big titles, like an exclusive GTA and MGS. When it comes to Ubi, only AC is in that league, maybe Far Cry.

PS. If you want a new Rayman, go to the online store and buy Rayman now! It's at a lowered price, so there is no excuse!

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
