Didn't it bomb? How would they be able to fund the next one?

It didn't bomb, it was a MAJOR flop and we talked about it, good lord, did we talk about it!

A good competitive fighting game, not a good party game.

MAJOR flops are relative to expectations. $300k * optimistically $30 to the dev (minus marketing, retail, distribution) = 90 dev-years ($100k per employee including insurance, tax, premises, equipment). Studio formed in 2009 so let's say 3 years of development. Was the staff really under 30 people? I can't find the credits list.

Didn't you mean it the other way around? It is a good party game (it's easier to pick up than  Smash) but the current balance makes it less fitted to the competitive fighting scene.

It looks a lot harder than Smash to be good - so many moves, the button combinations are more complex, and the strategy is deeper. With Smash any button you press will give a good result. Brawl was developed with no regard for competition but PSASBR was made with it in mind.

You got to be kidding me. What the hell is wrong with Sony lately? This game disappeared out og the top 30 in less then a week. It ranks at #100 right now. It sold 35k in its second week. I mean are they serious? Thats like milking a dead cow.

lets see how the legs will do while still being at $60

I think it's too late for that

I don't know why, but for the longest time, I thought your sig was a pic of PSBR everytime I scrolled past it, but now that I look at it closely I realise it's the Wonderful 101.

I don't know why I am telling you this. I'm just weird like that...yeah.

Play Smash Bros with me or any of my siblings and see how good a result you get by just pressing any button.
