I believe if they brought out AC new leaf in US and Europe this would of pushed hardware off the charts IMO. Also Fire Emblem or Luigi mansion for Dec release would of been nice!

UPdated with this weeks numbers. The 3DS now needs to sell 2,154,204 in the next 3 weeks (averaging 718,068 per week) to beat last years total.

Anyone think this is possible?

No, ain't gonna happen with the SW they've released for the holidays... Had they released animalcrossing, then probably. I don't understand why Nintendo decided to postpone several of their Big games to next year....

It sold 682k this week. Next week should have a boost with the Pink/White 3DS XL releasing. The holiday effect may push to 800k the week after.

We just had(america) great bundles at target and especially best buy!!! 129.99 and 159.99 bundle with games will push hardware close to a mil this week!

Of course yes.. it Only needs 720k per week, next week it will do 800k (Japan increase Toriko + Inazuma) the week after is Chisrtmas (900k) and the last week of the year 500000.

It will be close but 3DS will make it

Possible, yes, but not plausible. I think it'll fall a couple hundred grand short.

Of course the 3DS will beat his sales of last year with the SM3DL and MK7 bundle it will easily do it.
