Which one is the best?

PlayStation Vita 219 40.78%

Nintendo 3DS 316 58.85%

Total:535

Nintendo still hasnt brought out there biggest sellers IMO. We still havent gotten AC new leaf for casuals, LM dark moon, and games that we dont kno yet, ex zelda, most likely another 3d mario, DK!!! The biggest of the biggest either SSB4 and Pokemon gen 6!!!!!

Vita will have more titles in the future but nintendo sometimes doesnt show anything till its about to release ex. NSMB2!!!

If you have a PS3 I don't really think a Vita is needed....yet.
Get a 3DS to add more variety to your gaming.

3DS XL has just released a Pikachu edition. I also have the Legend of Zelda limited edition 3DS. These points alone mean that 3DS is ten times more awesome than the Vita.

I actually LOL'ed......

OT: It depends on your age and interests. If you like Pokemon, mario..etc then get a 3DS.
If you prefer more Western games then get a Vita.

I'm not picking on VGKing -- just using his post as a springboard -- and I apologize for being off-topic, but what is with this weird dichotomy of "Eastern" versus "Western" games? If a game is great, it's great.

I guess the philosophy is different, but sometimes there's not really a big difference.

So if you like Shooters, get a Vita? There are no WRPG's on the handhelds yet, and I think western gamers appreciate Super Mario as much as they do Uncharted.

I was mostly talking about the difference between the developers.  Their philosophy for making games, I think, are a bit different.  So sometimes this shows a different variety of games coming from the East than the West.  However, I think in some cases, you cannot tell the difference between a western and eastern game of the same genre.

I said this in another thread awhile back(now with some changes)

As an owner of both a 3DS and Vita; the Vita has much more going for it(which I'd recommend)

I've had a 3DS since launch and the games I own are:
Super Street Fighter IV
Samurai Warrior Chronicles
Resident Evil Mercenaries
Super Mario 3D Land
Mario Kart 7
Tales of the Abyss
Resident Evil: Revelations
Kingdom Hearts 3D

I got the Vita a month after launch and now have already surpassed my 3DS Library in less than a year:
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Unit 13
Resistance: Burning Skies
Gravity Rush
Ninja Giaden Sigma 2
Super Stardust Delta
Littlebigplanet
Ragnorak Odyssey
PSASBR
Persona 4: Golden

and thank to PS+ I was able to get:
Tales from Space
Jet Set Radio
Wipeout 2048
and also can get Gravity Rush and Uncharted: Golden Abyss

though this really doesn't prove why the Vita is better, but I can only give you my perspective on why the Vita is the handheld to get

Don't you think that the 3DS gets a point for being fully backwards compatible with the DS?  Well, for someone who doesn't have a DS.

Anyway, I think if someone can get both, then getting both would be the easiest way.

for ps or just a gamer that likes games they rather just get a ps3 instead of vita, but vita has some exclusive!!!

But your right 3ds has games that are original andor not ports!!! Even though NSMB2 AND NSMBU are similar!!! they play different!!!

I've owned them both and to me the 3ds is better overall. It's the only system to have ace developers making game for it. The Vita has spinoff developers making games like Uncharted, Call of Duty, and Assassins Creed. But Nintendo puts many of it's best staffers on the games which it makes for the systems and the quality shows through. For me that it the only reason to own one. There needs to be game which are so good that I just have to play them because I'd prefer to play on pc or console hardware wise.

yes that's a good point, many PSP owners were disgruntlesd at the fact the the PSV had no backwards compatability for  hard copies of PSP games, also that Sony didn't offer that "buy PSP games for UBER cheap" outside Japan

I can only say from my perspective that when I got my 3DS I still had my DSI so it wasn't a real selling point for getting my 3DS(and same for the Vita)

It does seem that Vita has alot more titles recently huh???Its funny because 3ds has so much more sales but vita at least past 2months brought alot to the table!!!
All 3ds had was Paper Mario, Professor Layton, and bundles for MK7 and SM3DL
