for the inevitable 6th gen pokemon on 3ds...
the answer is 3ds for me

I am 24. Now I'll say it again. 3DS wins because there is now a limited edition Pikachu 3DS XL as well as a limited edition Legend of Zelda 3DS. I own both. The Vita cannot win due to this.
In all seriousness though - the Vira just bores me. To hold, to look at, to think about, it's just... Yawn.
And no I don't hate Sony I love my PS3 and Skyrim was my (second) favourite game of 2011. I just have no interest at all in the Vita.

Your point is? Children play video games including the Vita.

Joke post? You said 3DS is a kids machine by posting pics of children of playing the 3DS and saying it felt like one too. I posted a pic of a kid playing the Vita and I don't think the Vita is exactly high quality built myself. Does that mean Vita is also a kids machine? No. Kids will play anything that is within their interest be it 3DS or Vita. If you don't like it, then oh well.
P.S.: Found another pic.

That's not the point. You said if you don't care about Nintendo games, then don't get a 3DS. I listed third party (non-Nintendo) games on the 3DS that you can get instead. The same way with Vita. I don't like Sony games, but I can still find a reason to get a Vita outside of Sony titles. |
yeah that's why I suggested getting a PSP, the 3DS is just PSP with Nintendo games, with the vita being a massive extension of that experience. So logic would dictate you get the PSP for all the games it already has, which are either on par or better than any 3rd party games you can get on 3DS, wait until Vita price comes down and get that. The only reason to own a 3DS *OVER* a PSP or Vita is Nintendo games.

*sigh* I can't get Resident Evil on PSP. I can't get Dead or Alive: Dimensions on PSP. And I sure as hell can't get Code of Princess on PSP. The 3DS is much more than just a PSP with Nintendo games. The same can also be said about Vita (expect Dead or Alive 5 is coming to it; however, Vita doesn't have a localized Tales game (can't say when Innonence R or Hearts R will be localized or not), Monster Hunter, or Kingdom Hearts).
3DS and Vita offer different gaming experinces, more so than first party offerings.

Wow, how little do you actually know about the 3DS if you think that? You think that the DS/3DS only has Nintendo games, and that the PSP and Vita has objectively better 3rd party games than either system? You must be retarded.
edit: Let me elaborate something for you, since you seem to not be able to understand. The DS has a very large library of games, both 1st and 3rd party games. There are a lot of really high quality 3rd party games available for the DS and the 3DS can play ALL of them. The PSP is weaker than the 3DS, no doubt about it. The 3DS has a better screen than the PSP. The difference between 3DS and PSP is BIGGER than the difference between 3DS and PS Vita. If you can't see that, then that's your fanboyism blinding you.

I actually LOL'ed...... OT: It depends on your age and interests. If you like Pokemon, mario..etc then get a 3DS. |
I'm not picking on VGKing -- just using his post as a springboard -- and I apologize for being off-topic, but what is with this weird dichotomy of "Eastern" versus "Western" games? If a game is great, it's great.
