That's completely false. There are plently of great third party games on the 3DS. Resident Evil, Ace Combat, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, Code of Princess, Sonic Generations, Samurai Warriors: Chronicles (to me best launch game), Tales of the Abyss 3D, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Rhythm Theif, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, Devil Survivor Overclocked, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (coming to US this march).

I never said the 3DS didn't have 3rd party games. And I'm pretty sure you could name a bunch of wii 3rd party games as well which literally changes nothing.

That's not the point. You said if you don't care about Nintendo games, then don't get a 3DS. I listed third party (non-Nintendo) games on the 3DS that you can get instead. The same way with Vita. I don't like Sony games, but I can still find a reason to get a Vita outside of Sony titles.

yeah that's why I suggested getting a PSP, the 3DS is just PSP with Nintendo games, with the vita being a massive extension of that experience. So logic would dictate you get the PSP for all the games it already has, which are either on par or better than any 3rd party games you can get on 3DS, wait until Vita price comes down and get that. The only reason to own a 3DS *OVER* a PSP or Vita is Nintendo games.
