Some women actually look hot with shaved heads so I wouldn't be overly worried.

Considering she's 31 I think she looks rather attractive.  We'll see how she holds up in 10 years, but she looks decent.

Female pattern baldness exists, and it is far more prevalent then most of you seem to think. The reason you don't recognize it as existing is women are far more fastidious about their physical appearance then men. In other words they go to extreme lengths to cover it up, and with damned good reason. When it comes to women hair is a visible sign of their physical health. Long hair is a purely superfluous feature that conveys a important message. It tells the male that the women is both healthy and well nourished. Which is incredibly important when it comes to the whole child bearing thing. Which is both expensive, and taxing on the women.

I know it sounds cold, but men purely on a instinctual level. Do not want to mate with a female that is likely to fail to conceive, miscarry, or die in child birth. It is purely hardwired into our brains, and even if we are generous in spirit. Our first impressions will undeniably steer us away from making a poor mating choice. Whether we like to admit it or not. We all actively pursue a biological imperative even if we don't know we are.

Men on the other hand don't pay quite the same price for balding. The male isn't responsible for child bearing, or even necessarily child rearing. The male is responsible for providing for the female. Balding can be trumped if we can prove that we are capable of that. If a man is physically strong, wealthy, respected, or smart. He can make a even better case then a guy who is none of those, but has a head full of hair.

In answer to the question if we saw all those bald, or balding women as they were. We wouldn't be going nuts over them. We would see them as sickly, and not worth the time or effort. That isn't to say that those balding women aren't pulling it off though. They cover it up well enough to ensnare men, and there are probably some guys on these forums who are completely oblivious to the fact that their girl is going bald. Oh by the way don't ask her if she is. You don't want to know, and you will probably mess her up if she is going bald.

Seriously if you want proof of what I am saying just go to some public place where older women go, and see for yourself those fabulous frizzy hair styles. They don't think those styles are awesome. They are hiding the fact that if they let their hair lay flat. You would see their scalps from a mile away. Then if your perverse cover their faces with your thumb, and ask yourself a honest question would you have sex with that hair.

Even if all the women went bald tomorrow. It would still take a great number of generations to breed out that primordial impulse. I am not saying that sex would go away, but men would probably be decidedly less aroused on sight.

Females can go bald too, people... But, I'm going to say it doesn't matter. If it does, you obviously didn't give a crap about her to begin with.
