Forums - General - If you could play one game before you die...

Recently went to the hospital hospital where they found "spots" on an ultrasound of my liver. After the initial shock I relized statistics were on my side so it's probably nothing to worry about, but it got me thinking of all the things I'd like to do before I die. From a gaming stand point I'd probably want to play through Zelda: A Link To The Past one last time.  I have so many fond memories of playing that game when I was younger, and throughout the years, and I'd want to experience it one last time.
What game would you like to experience one last time and why?

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

I wish you the best.

I'd probably want to play through a Zelda game again too. Probably OoT. It's still my favorite. I never finished Wind Waker, but I enjoyed it very much. Maybe I'd replay and finish it. It still looks amazing and half of it would be new to me.

Now that I think about it I should just play Wind Waker now.

This is a really tough question, but I'd choose:

Super Mario 64.

While I love Majora's Mask and Banjo Kazooie just as much, Super Mario 64 has such an upbeat and constantly engaging atmosphere that does not allow your mind to dwell on other thoughts. It gives me a pure sense of happiness when I play it. It would definitely be my game of choice if I were to die soon.

Final fantasy 8.
The mood would just be absolutely perfect.
It's a game about failure and loss. I don't know what could possibly fit better.

Other choices might be:
MGS3 Snake Eater
Final Fantasy tactics
Valkyrie Profile
Xenogears

I would be playing Wind Waker until I died, the joy that game gives me is why it's one of many things I want to do before I die.

Oh man, that's a tough one... I'd probably want to finish the original Legend of Zelda! I've been playing that game for 20 years, and it'll probably take me another 20 years - so that would probably buy me some time before I'm off to the after life ;)

But I'd also like to experience THE last Zelda game that will ever be produced! Or at least, the last great one =)

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Hey man, I hope everything works out OK.

Like Kain, I would choose Ocarina. It's just a very special game, plus it's got so many things to do and see. I played it for the first time when I was 15, so it has a nostalgic value for me. But it's also the greatest game ever made, at least in my opinion, so it would be a fitting send-off :)

I wouldn't waste my time playing a game. Instead I'd finish developing one.
