"while hardware dipped 13 percent to $838.9 million."

So PS3 still unknown

Do those dollar amounts include sale prices or do they just count each item sold at retail price

The All Stars numbers are retail only.

All the Amazon bundles received a code to the digital version... so at least 160k sales for digital version.

Hardware sales slid 13 percent during November, with total software sales dropping 11 percent year-over-year. Our full report is coming #NPD

is this gamespot tweet false then????

"as total industry sales dropped 11 percent to $2.55 billion in November. Total software sales (including PC) fell 11 percent to $1.46 billion, while hardware dipped 13 percent to $838.9 million. Accessories were down 8 percent as well, totaling $280.9 million."

Not exactly false though it seemed like they were talking about units and not revenue.

Nintendo biggest mistake was not to offer a bundle with the hottest 3DS right now, which is the XL.

Simple as that. Now they corrected the mistake, but they could sold much more on november with that Mario Kart bundle

I think their biggest mistake was not having anything notable released for the holiday period this year. No Animal Crossing, no Pokemoon 3DS, no Style Savvy, nothing.

I was under the impression that they learned software sells hardware! Nintendo might have expected to cruise off Mario and hide the fact with bundling but that is not gonna fly.

Now that they've realized their failure they can start pumping out hardware by rectifying their weak lineup. With Wii U they can afford to screw up for now because competition is not really there quite yet even thoguh PS3 and 360 are around. Vita is not really a threat in America either but they are suffering from a lack of content.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Pretty sure they try to count the special deals and not the MSRP.
