i bet they go with Mario Kart 8.

20+ million confirmed! who doesn't want a wheel of the Wiiugamepad!

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

As long as Mario Kart Wii U supports Pro Controller, I do not care what they do with the GamePad.

My idea was you have your general Mario GP which is traditional.

Then you bring back a new version of the Double Dash mode from the GCN version with a new twist.

Two racers per kart, but the racer in the rear has control of a water canon that can spray other racers and perhaps do other things like open up short cuts by spraying certain things. Weapons are also managed by the person in the rear.

So the person using the pad can hold the Wii U tablet in front of their face and use the gyros to spin it around to see other racers coming up from behind or the side and spray them with water or hit them with a weapon.

The other player on the TV is driving the kart with the Wiimote/Wii wheel/nunchaku.

while kind of cool as an idea, the dependance on actually having two players seems limiting. what if you only have one player...you only get to drive?  sounds like a huge disadvantage.

and if i have to spin a full 360 to see everything... i would not enjoy the game.  too much effort to be fun.

You know how when you collect an item, you get the little slot machine display that reveals what it is. You could have that on the gamepad and the player could tap it to try and stop it on the item they want. (If left alone, it will stop automatically after a few seconds as normal).

This could create a nice little risk reward mechanic, since the player would have to take their eyes off of the main screen to attempt it.

I want to see behind me. Maybe have an item that lets you see way ahead of the player for a short time. This way you can see up coming danger.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

The Pad seems to have really good motion sensors... motion control might...MIGHT.. be fun using it.
