Hi all ^^

I have owned a PS3 since the release of Final Fantasy XIII (late 2009). Since I've been hearing good things about the Xbox 360 (good network, good achievement system, good multiplatform ports, etc), I went ahead and bought the Xbox 360 S early 2011.

I really liked the console. The user interface is fast, the achievements are addicting to collect, some ports indeed run better on X360 than on PS3, it is easier to contact people (messaging system works on my browser, I like that), etc. I love my Xbox 360 games - Virtua Fighter 5, Fable, Dead or Alive 4/5, Lost Odyssey, Monster Hunter, Outrun Online Arcade (can't buy it on PSN anymore! It was delisted. *TEARS*)... but I'm not sure I should keep the console when nothing in about 1+ year has been interesting me.

I keep playing more PS3 because I have no interest in most Xbox exclusives, and end up buying more multiplatforms on PS3 because more friends own PS3 and I have more trophies than achievements. I don't like shooters (Halo, Gear of War), don't like Kinect, I don't use cross game chat (my english is not good enough to use voice chat), and although I paid 1 year for Xbox Live I felt it is was ripoff compared to PS Plus so I did not renew it.

With that in mind, should I keep my 360 or sell it? Maybe wait for some new title, is something interesting on the horizon?

If you dont like Shooters the 360 isn't the console for you. The 360 is my shooter/port console, pretty much. Everything else, I do on the PS3. If it wasnt for Gears next year I would give up my 360 to tell you the truth, but I like Gears too much. Its amazing how two games can hold people.

Sell it, I see no reason for you to keep it. And I'm pretty sure their is nothing new on the horizon for Microsoft they are pretty much done with making new games for this gen, So just sell it and buy some more games for PS3.

Sell man, right now you have get as much as 150 in trade in credit for your system. The amount of games are only going to get worse from this point up until the 720 launch so get out while the system still has some value.

Anyways, if you play your third party games on the PS3 and it has more exclusives you like then you probably don't need a second console.

Sold my PS3 for the same reason.

My general opinion is, you already own it why not keep it until you absolutely know there won't be anything this generation that you may want?

If you need money, do what you need to do. I don't think you won't have opportunities later on to sell it. Especially once the Gen8 consoles get announced by Sony and Microsoft.

Honest opinions is something you wont be getting in this thread.

sell it...especially since there is no point in paying for live when u know u play ps3 and ps+ is fucking awesome

Exclusives are nice, but in all reality you dont need more then one console. Once you work 40+ hours a week you'll have a lot less time. I plan on just going 720/3DS next year.

I think since you spend more time with the PS religion you should sell your Xbox.
