i think it is to be expected that a site with a focus on sales would have users that are knowledgeable about sales. all of my gaming friends simply don't give a shit about sales and when they do they just ask me (typically looking for the extremely detailed conclusion of good/bad...).
Well, that's a combination of two things.
1 - Vgchartz does do a pretty decent job over most other gaming sites at news
2 - some gamers just don't have any common sense

1. Yes, it is why I like this site a lot. People on the forums post info all across the web.
2. lmao that's an understatement haha
I only realised this about a week ago when I was reading through a sales related article on N4G...
"PS3 has now shipped 6m more than the X360"
"PS Vita is making Sony TONNES of money"
That's the kind of ignorance that thrives there. What's worse is that comments like these get 20 likes and 2 dislikes, so it makes them look true

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Wait what? You can't talk about our site on Neogaf, Why?

Just read some of the comments from their users.

Actually, I flipped my stance. I would rather see Microsoft exit than Sony. Although I'd rather see Microsoft stay as one of the big 3 than Apple or anyone else enter the home console market. The more competition the better but I just have a biased against Microsoft that has only grown more and more lately. My dislike for Sony came from unreliable hardware (PS1, PS2 early models) and their fans (which I don't really care what they say anymore). My dislike for Microsoft mainly just comes from the company (I just don't like them).

Thanks for the links Seth.
Some of those posters were so bitter and angry. Especially the one who claimed that this site was started and ran by an Xbox fanboy who just fabricates all sales data. It made me laugh so hard. Seriously who would take the time to fabricate sales data for hundreds of games every week, the amount of ignorance and hate of this site is quite appalling and goes to show how immature and uniformed some sites are.
But I really don't expect anything better from the likes of Neogaf or N4G.

i assume you are for nintendo then? This whole statement in my opinion makes you look bad. Nintendo hasn't been perfect either so when you criticise others you need to step back for a moment.
