While the 360 seems slightly slow in N.A because of the 87% average and Saturday seemingly not having sold squat then, I think it's Europe where it's been lowballed.

The 87% ratio doesn't work during BF week I don't think, because you only see such mad deals in USA

lol @PS3 still being a lot under what Sony reported, and Vita being a lot under as well...wtf

It's the busiest week of the year in the US with massive spikes due to special offers making accurate predictions extremely difficult. Stop whining about the numbers which at the end of the day are estimates, they will be adjusted as they always have been. You cannot just take a press release from Sony and input their numbers into the database, they need to understand where their algorithms have gone wrong then recalculate based on the new data.

Once they have been updated that still doesn't mean they're set in stone as they likely will be revised again over the coming weeks and usually again in January as we get PR from Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft post the holidays. These will get further adjusted again when the Q4 and Q1 figures are released also.

In summary stop whinging about bias and all the other garbage and try considering why they got the figures "wrong" if you must discuss the disparity. Is it due to the new model that has thrown the model off, is it some extremely good offers, has the Wii U shortages meant the PS3 picked up some overspill sales. The figures will be updated to reflect the Sony press release eventually so if you must speculate then try to understand how the estimates could be inaccurate.

As for the sales it seems everyone did great for the week, PS Vita numbers obviously excluded but they're not much more doom and gloom than any other week of the year.

I expect we'll see PS3 adjust up to around 600k in the US and 360 up a bit in Europe too as I don't buy the 2:1 PS3 advantage there at this time of year given the release of both BLOPS2 and Halo 4 recently.

I would think they'd save the adjustments until they can figure out what went wrong. Adjusting it slightly (but still vastly off) only makes this tracking seem worse. They adjusted their numbers to Ninendo+MS numbers immediately (you can bet they basically just copied them and accounted for that extra day for 360.)

Why are 360 overtracked? It's 800k in US(don't use main page's NA for US),50k for Saturday seems nothing wrong

Still undertracked by 100k in USA, lol at VGZ. Dont adjust at all if you dont want to adjust correctly.

Yeah they should adjust to match official number now or just wait NPD report to adjust, adjust 2 times seems not necessary

No patience. Things get adjusted later on anyway. What's the harm in waiting people!! You, or most of you don't even pay for this service!

I'm fine with going slowmo. Adjusting now to numbers that are still way off just seems unnecessary and only increases confusion

How can VGC do the thing so wrong... EPIC FAIL!!!

lol, VGC has too much pride to acknowledge a big mistake, so they adjust PS3 from 390 to 447k instead of ~525k. It's been six years now, but hopefully people will slowly but surely understand where this site is pulling their numbers from. Hint: It's not from Retail. Ever wondered why Japan figures are updated ALWAYS after MediaCreate releases their figures? It tells enough about this site.
