Since when do hardware reviews on gaming sites give review scores? If it's from one of the big three, we know it's going to be good anyway

Amazing how good news for the WiiU gets no comments from posters. If this was bad news this would be flooded.
Edit: Looks like someone noticed before me.

I think any score from 7 upwards can be considered good for hardware sincethe thing will improve over time, just like the PS3 and 360 did.

The Wii U has some problems and Nintendo also made some questionable decisions but I am good as long as Nintendo keeps working on it and as long as the console doesn't give out on me entirely, which would be an improvement from past HD consoles.

Good news about the Wii U simply isn't exciting. Nintendo fans seem to agree considering so few of them have posted here.

Ugh. I said it when IGN reviewed it, and I'll say it here. Giving numbered reviews to gaming hardware is simply stupid.

The post count in one thread really isn't the best metric to use to validate a blanket statement though, to be fair.  I'm sure good sales would be exciting too.

Of course. But as for news such as this, which just talks about the system without giving anything new significant info (as far as I can tell), it would of course be ignored. 

doing formal reviews of hardware in general is pretty silly. Not only can things change very easily but a system should be defined by the games, not the hardware @.@
