What a surprise... once again Nintendo rehashes 20+ year old ideas and repackages them as something new...

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

You just need to embrace your inner child and have fun with stickers.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

wait. Theres no experience?

Nope. You find HP-Up when you want to boost your HP, and use stronger stickers when you want to improve your attacks/defense. Random battles can be avoided entirely without much consequence beyond a cash shortage.

Does cash play a really important part of the game or is it just to buy items and other stickers?

Very important. Watch gametrailers review, they explain it very well.

This game is fun as hell, I don't know what the problem is.

eh..i'll get it anyway. Ive played a few rpgs without traditional experience system's and most weren't bad. Sonic Dark Brotherhood being one of the exception's.

I just think of the stickers as mana/MP. In a traditional rpg, you don't go into battle with low or no MP.

No exp/leveling is kind of weird, but for me it helps keep the balance as you play through, cause with traditional rpgs I tend to over level and power through the game.

It's not that important. You need plenty of it to fight battles, but you get a ton of it after completing each level, get coin bonuses for finishing fights without taking damage, and can get free coins in the middle of battle. I've never had any problems, especially since there's only one sticker I've ever needed to buy.
