So you were able to extrapolate poor 3rd part vita game sales to poor third party for the entire Sony line? Awesome.

If you want, I could also talk about how Just Dance 4 is selling better on the Wii, a dying system, then the thriving PS3.

More people who buy Just Dance games have a Wii more than the PS3, that is why. Along with that who in the hell would buy a dance game for a PS3 when there's better games on the PS3 l0l

More people who buy Call of Duty games have a PS3 than theWii , that is why. Along with that who in the hell would buy a shooter game for a Wii when there's better games on the Wii l0l

Not sure if this thread is serious in demonstrating surprise that more games shift 200k to a 20m user base than to a 3m user base...

It is serious. Even when 3ds was off to such a bad start 3ds games were still outselling vita games. Super street fighter iv managed to sell 1 million units before capcom's financial report. One week after 3ds launched in us and europe. First week of street fighter x tekken sold 6000 units.

One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D

OK fair enough. I do have a 3DS btw. I just wanted to be clear that people were really "analyzing" 20m users against 3m users. Just seems very strange to me.

Incidentally 3rd parties found more success on the 360 than the original Xbox. Just FYI :)

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Let me clear this up, Persona 4 to date has the biggest debute week in japan followed by the Miku game or what ever the name, those are BOTH 3rd party. Persona 4 has the highest PS Vita pre-orders of anygame that I know of, it even has higher the PSABR on PS3. Assassins Creed 3 Liberation did 100k first week and by christmas over 200k. Rayman Origins released later on the vita and is higher priced then the system version yet it sold over 200k, stop this. A system with 3.3m or so base compared to a system with a 20m base. If you say 200k for PS Vita youd have to times it by about 6.5 to compare, so it would be about 1.3m as the equal value. Actually thinking about it most of the PS Vita games sell pretty good. Uncharted has about a 1 in 4 attach rate. Persona has about a 1 in 5 attach rate in japan probably even 4. Miku or what ever the name did better on vita then what even the 3ds game tbat released was. Time travellers had a sold more first week on PS Vita then 3ds and there are over 6 times the 3ds out there. Also look at the top 10 for both consoles and you'll see. 3rd parties sell on vita and alot of people actually buy games online of vita so the number are always a fair bit higher.

To anybody who has bothered to read this far: I was joking. I've just seen the fun other people have had with these kinds of threads and wanted to try it.

Wait... this means... I'm a Troll!

I must Repent!

Nothing sells on the Vita.

Aside from that though, you mentioned there were 4 third party games in the Vita's top 10, but failed to mention there were but 3 in the 3DS' top 10!

So while nothing is selling, at least more third-party nothing is selling!

Oh you. I was worried I would have had to search through the charts to find I'll the 3rd party games that sold better on Vita than 3DS.

To put it short: It is a joke thread to poke at people who are either gone or secluded in one thread (who are about to be gone l0l).

Thanks Basil, you don't need to post it twice.  I read it and I ignored it!

Only 1 of the top 4 selling Vita games is made by a company other than Sony, Fifa Soccer. Furthermore, only three other 3rd party games fill the next six spots. So in total, only four 3rd party Vita games have sold over 200,000 copies.

Contrast that to the 3DS. Even if you double the 200,00 copies to 400,000 copies to compensate for the 3DS's being out for twice as long, you still have a dozen 3rd party games with that many sales: Monster Hunter 3G, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Dragon Quest Monsters 3D, Super Street Fighter 4 3D, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Lego Star Wars 3, RE: Revelations, Professor Layton 5, Sonic Generations, Rayman 3D, Inazuma Eleven Go, Ridge Racer 3D, and Super Monkey Ball 3D.

So my question is, why do 3rd parties even bother with Sony systems? It's obvious that if they want to sell games, they have to do it on Nintendo platforms.

so vita is actually a portable wii? :D well, let's hope it for vita, should start selling soon.
