I think that It is a real possibility... Nintendo and Namco have a relationship that can be seen as quite mutual.

They work on the triforce system together and Pacman featured in Mario Kart arcade. They have had a mutual relationship since the NES.

It could be a real possibility that Namco would let Nintendo use their characters in Brawl.

And Nintendo would jump at the chance to use some of these characters. Sakurai said that he looks for characters that would be fun, rather than popular. IMO I think you could easily make charcters such as mappy and pacman a lot of fun in smash brothers brawl.

I would love to see Pacman and the like in brawl.

I don't think that.
The only Namco franchise well know today is Pacman.
Nintendo won't make a relationship only for Pacman.
(For SSB, Pacman can't jump, can't fire, can't defend, can only move and eat)
