Because this thread suggests you should? Whereas you still shouldn't? And as I've said it only applies if you already own a PS3 or a 360.

That still doesn't answer why exactly the PS360 versions are the better investment from a technical standpoint. You say "don't buy the Wii U version when you have a PS360", but why?

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

They look exactly the same, which also brings up a whole different topic, but I'll just stay quiet.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Because the framerate is said to be noticeably lower than the PS3 version which is itself lower than the 360 version in the campaign.

It's also said to feature worse shadows than at least the 360 version.

That video compares the Wii U version with the PS3 version but the 360 version looks a lot better.

From a personal Stand point of Playing COD Black ops II on Both PS3 and Wii U (Don't have a 360) They seem to look almost identical, The only thing I noticed was the PS3 version looked alittle bit muddier? But that's on my Samsung HDTV.. When I swapped The game to the Gamepad It seems to look better.. Idk if it's just me Maybe it's because the screen is smaller and it hides jaggies better.

That's some selective quoting in that thread concerning blops 2. There are multiple other people who stated that the Wii U version is fine. I already touched on the singleplayer framerate drops which seem to happen mostly in cutscenes. If bad singleplayer is a dealbreaker for you then Call of Duty wouldn't be your game of choice anyway.

You are an outlier then.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

From the specs released the Wii U seems to have a serious bottleneck with memory (unless the eDRAM make miracles)... so the game developers have to sacrifice some things like AA or shadows (like happened with BOPS2).

And I can predict now we will never see a complex 1080p game in Wii U.

those shadow in the wiiU are fucking terrible and if they have framerate problems worse than the lazy port for ps3? wow

I think the ports for Wii U will be worst for everygame... the Wii U have issues with memory bandwidth (half than PS360) so if the game is not programmed to heavly use the eDRAM then the result is really bad.

The developers have to overcome the memory issues using the still unknown eDRAM.
