Wow we got a lot of new people on the list. Just looked up max friends and it appears to be 100 just like the 3DS.

This.  You don't get a notification of friend requests if you add the other user through the friends tab.   It only does it through Miiverse.

Yep, the notification is nice.  I have a habit of doing it on friends list still though.  I suppose in the future I'll try and do it on Miiverse more.  That being said I am pretty sure I added everyone on the list (through the friends list).

Vinnie said the same thing... but other people on here have been able to add me just fine. It must be an issue with Nintendo? That's weird though, no one else appears to have this issue. x_x

I've been being a putz and not adding many people myself but waiting for people to add me mainly because I didn't have my iPad handy last night and couldn't look at the list of people without switching between the browser and MiiVerse.
