they should just charge like 5 bucks one time registration fee for every one. That way when an annoying user gets banned they have to pay to get back online.
I have a terrible feeling that this will only lead to people over 18 considering themselves as "majors", which will then give elitists an excuse to tell the internet how they are "Generals" who don't don't get involved in petty "minor" conflicts.

Considering you just paid $300 for the system, 50 cents is not a big deal.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
Ok, honestly this is a kind of weird thing to do.
If the parents cared much about making sure their kid registered as under 18, they wouldn't think twice about paying 50 cents.
On the other hand, this would deter anyone who's actually under 18 without parental supervision from being truthful about their age.
