The game pad was functional in 90% of my house with the exception my second bedroom (the console is located off center from the room) and the upper most tier of the loft. |
Train wreck, can you answer these two questions?
1) so I heard the U pad drains the battery very quickly...if I want to, can I turn off the image on the pad screen so only the TV is displaying the game?
2) if I´m not using Wii remotes, only the U pad, do I still need that sensor bar?
Thanks!

2. No as far as i can tell im playing NSMB U away from the Wii u in another room and no sensor near by
2. Right now im doing the play on the pad test to see how long the battery lasts, so far im been playing the game since 11:45am est no battrery icon yet. As far as the question, the wii u pad is constantly showing something on the screen, you cannot shut it off to view only the TV while pad is in hand.
