I am playing 'PID' on PC recently. Good platformer with unique elements. Since you have PC, I would suggest that.

Also I was searching good platformers myself recently for my nephew. All are on PC cause I don't want to hand over my PS3 controller to him. Here are few:

1. Cave Story
2. Mark of the Ninja (highly recommended stealth platformer)
3. Dustforce
4. Super Meatboy (insane jumping fun)
5. Braid
