Forums - Sony Discussion - Final Fantasy Type-0 - Localization almost done! (but still a rumor and there's a catch...)

I hope they announce Final Fantasy vs. Mortal Kombat. That would be great =D

I'd prefer a fighting game that encompassed Square Enix's multiple franchises. Imagine: a game where you have the cast of Dissidia returning, Kingdom Hearts characters like Sora and Riku and Xemnas and Xehanort's Heartless, Crono and Magus from Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest characters, Edward from Fullmetal Alchemist, and whoever is in those Front Mission, SaGa, and Star Ocean games.

Besides, I really don't think Final Fantasy and Mortal Kombat's styles would really mesh. One is flashy, the other bloody.

The thing is, we got additional information last night and this morning, so please be patient (Nomura style).

I will show you the future of Final Fantasy soon.

That idea would be great to.

The reason I want to see Final Fantasy vs. Mortal Kombat, is to make/see all the characters in Final Fantasy in a more dark light, like Netherrealm is doing with the DC characters in Injustice. Final Fantasy charcaters have killed so many people/things in the games, it would be nice to see them for what they really are..... Cold blooded killers! I could totally see cloud doing a fatality.

Playstation All-Stars is one of the best games I've played this gen, and is the most fun I've had in a game this gen.

Out with it already! :x

I'm not so sure about that. You see, doing a dark take on DC works because, well, DC's origins and concepts are dark. Batman, for instance, is a very dark series, and even Superman deals with dark concepts a lot. Final Fantasy does to, but it's always seemed more fundamentally optimistic. I guess that's because DC series go on until they're cancelled, making evil immortal, whereas in Final Fantasy the forces of evil can always be defeated within a couple of days of playtime.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII for Wii-U confirmed.

Imagine o_O the horror that Bayonetta 2 caused x 10000. People will be dropping dead.

Edit: oops I thought I read exclusive lmao

I guess it shouldn't cost much for Square Enix to bring it to the vita, the game's already done.. just some few graphic touches and additional quests et On serait aux anges !!
Also Dissidia should do wonders on vita, with that dual analog sticks.. Look at how fast they bring Duodecim 012 on PSP !! COME ON Square Enix, make the right choice for once !

Until they come back in Dissidia =p

But ya, even a plain Final Fantasy 2d fighter would get me excited.

I'm mainly currious what Sephiroth's Fatality would be though in a MK cross over... you know it would be the best.
