Skyfall review will be up next Monday.

Bring the heat, Spurge and Jay.

I have used up all my strength in this thread. All I can muster is posting a trailer of skyfall in your last review thread. Now time to go watch Goldneye again.

Is that the one that should have been great that was ruined by Pierce Brosnan's wretched acting?  Why yes, I think that it was.

No haven't seen it but will surely see it soon in a cinema near me.
So far i've spoken to 2 real life friends of which one loved the movie and the other hated it. Close to the demographics of this thread i guess.

i thought it was a good bond myself, pretty interesting and personal,a bit disappointed they didn't use more of an orchestra score for music in the film like a bond should, keep it classy

Sadly this has been the case since John Barry stopped doing the scores after The Living Daylights.  :(

yes they had some like when they got the aston martin out,but they had quite a bit of the electronic bleep/blop stuff which is fine but not in a bond for me

i thought the film was good enough to see again, craigy has odne a good job for me,they said he signed up for 2 more,

i also love the fact feinnes took over, great casting for me

Yeah, I really like that Fiennes is aboard now.  A great choice in my opinion.

Eager to see it. Happy that thread spark off so many reactions.

I'm not a very big Bond fan. I've seen about 5 movies of 007 - I thought this one was really good. The baddy made the movie really great!

It was pretty cool. Had way better graphics than Oblivion or Fallout. I liked fighting the dragons and shouting at people. I give it a 9.5/10.

i'm surprised they never used the stag logo where skyfall is for the film,it looked great and it has to be said that film was shot beautifully

i think there was enough action in it too,if the youngsters are complaining maybe we can call it a bond for the oldies amp

Decent villain, a bunch of good jokes, gorgeous girl (would've liked to see her in more scenes), but didn't quite like it.
It was an ok film, not bad but not great either, Casino Royale still the best one for me (Craig as Bond)

I don't know why some people are ranting about the less shooting/more story, didn't you guys watched Casino Royale? This ain't no Jerry Bruckheimer film.
I do agree, the first chasing scene was weak, but it does get better. I won't keep going to avoid any spoilers.

I'm waiting for Sir Amp's review.

It was a cool movie, but I was really disappointed with it. It lacked style. It lacked James Bond style. More and more these movies are turning away from the unexpected crazy action from previous James Bond movies and turning more and more towards bland general action like Mission Impossible.

I miss the days when unexpected events would happen (bobsledding, crazy nuclear power plants, etc.). I miss the fun unexpected things that made James Bond movies so unique.

Also, relationships in Bond movies are getting more and more boring... The female relationships were always so spicy and fun in older movies, but now they're just becoming standard crushes and fuck buddies.

It was a good movie, but not as good as the hype made it out to be though so some may be disappointed. Actually I think if James Bond wasn't attached to the title it might just be any other generic action movie (not disappointing but not mind blowing either).

Also am I the only one that understood and enjoyed Quantum of Solace plot? I never knew people didn't like the plot, I thought the whole premise of Spectre was quite interesting and would have been contiued in this movie.
