Lol I missed this thread do to all the Wii U news :p

Anyway my game number 41 got a sequel this year.

#41. New Play Control! Pikmin 2 (Wii)

I had always been curious about Pikmin since the gamecube days, buy like I said earlier I was MIA towards the end of that gen, so I never played it. Next thing I know Nintendo announces a New Play Control version. I was so happy cuz the Wii version apparently controlled MUCH better than the GCN version. It was such a fresh take on the RTS genre, and it was so high in quality, I enjoyed it a lot. I played both the first one and this as NPC titles, but the second one was better in my opinion, so it got the spot in my top 50.

First in a series, not thirteenth!

NPC: Donkey Kong Jungle Beat?

If that's not it, then I'll wait till tomorrow to see what it is.

My number 41th is Pokémon Emerald Version. When I my parents bought it for me back in the day, I did not expect much of the game, since Ruby was quite dissapointing and probably the worst main Pokémon game to date.
However when I played Emerald, I had alot of fun.
I think that in total I might have clocked of 500 hours of gameplay in that game, however it is not the best of Pokémon game, there are two that are better.

Hint fo 40th:
The game incorparated a mix between two dimensions in the series. Even the creator of the franchise said something about making everyone happier by doing it.

Sonic Generations?

No, but I can say that the game is a handheld title.

Super Mario 3D Land.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Clue for 41: This game came out in the mid 80s and featured a main character that collected bombs, ran away from robots and shares a name with a certain samurai.

Bomb Jack

I didn't think anyone would know this game...

how could people not know this game... when I was a kid almost every bar and takeaway in the area I lived had a Bombjack machine in it :D one of the games I played before I came to terms with the fact that I was going to grow up a gamer.

thank you for stirring up some nice memories :)

Lol, no problem, I absolutely loved this game. To this day, it's the only video game my mum has ever played (and enjoyed)

Anyway, No. 41:

41. Bomb Jack (Amstrad CPC 464, also in Arcade, also on Commodore 64/16, Atari ST, Amiga, Game Boy and now on Wii Virtual Console)

This is the only video game my mother has ever played. Younger posters are probably thinking 'WTF?' but this game is pure platforming brilliance. Someone has planted 24 bombs in 5 high profile locations and it's up to Bomb Jack (with his impressive jumping and gliding ability) to collect and defuse them. Collect the bombs in the right order (denoted by the order the bombs sparkle) and get a massive bonus. But watch out for those fast moving robots! Now on Wii's Virtual Console if anyone wants to give it a go.

Clue for 40: This game features a bear, a robot, a dinosaur, a cyborg and a mad scientist.
