So my 44 is Epic Mickey. 43 is the first title with a man from Grenesheller and his apprentice.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

Yep, and it won't be the only instalment on the list!

FYI it's Gressenheller

@SnakeDrake: Saints Row?

#44. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (GBA)

This was the first game I played from the Fire Emblem franchise. I had no idea what the game was about, but the game's box cover and name seemed cool so I figured what the hell (This was a long time ago haha). It was probably even my first strategy RPG game. The game was difficult, and I loved it for that. I loved the game's solid  game mechanics, its interesting story, nice looking characters with superb animations, and that epic music. I just loved everything about this game. I've played others in the series but this was my first. ...and here's where I'd put my love for FE: Awakening, IF I HAD ONE!

Nobody guessed the 44th game, although somebody did manage to figure out that it was Pokemon.

44) Pokemon Emerald (GBA / 2005 / RPG)

It got very easy towards the end because of Rayquaza. Rayquaza comes at Level 70 whereas Groudon and Kyogre are level 45. Hence the fact that the number 25 (levels higher than the other legendaries) was related to the low difficulty of the Elite Four. Still, though, it was a great game.

Game 43 is nice and obscure.

It is a licensed game, but not based on a movie or book. And it is based on a period of history involving plants.

EDIT: And no, it isn't Paradox title War of the Roses. The license is not related to the period of history.

It is indeed about the War of the Roses, but it is not the War of the Roses released this year, no. It is a licensed game.
