44. Ultima: The False Prophet (PC)

Long before there was Grand Theft Auto, there was this shit. While in Ultima you play as the Avatar, a paragon of the Eight Virtues (valor, honesty, and so forth), you are afforded a great deal of freedom and so I largely spent my time killing, stealing, or sexing everything in sight. Sometimes all three.

44. Lylat Wars (N64)

Or Star Fox 64, as it's obviously also known as. "Do a barrel roll" has permeated far enough into the mainstream that when you type those words into google, you will witness the search engine do exactly that. Of course, the game isn't just memorable for that alone, otherwise it wouldn't be on my list, or anybody else's list either. A single playthrough of Lylat Wars will be relatively short, but as branching paths are on offer, you need to play the game more than once to truly see everything it has to show.

My 43rd game is the most juvenile game on my list.

heard a few rumours of it coming to xbl and psn a while back but nothing really came of it and from what I heard when they were arranging the characters for super street fighter 4 and the arguments with Arika I think there will never be another version of this out, massive shame really.... need to get out the psone to get the EXplosion's rolling :D

If you've got the disks and a PS3, they're playable on that (all PS1 games are).  It'd be nice to have them on PSN, but I wouldn't buy them again :)

EX3 wasn't very good though, which was a shame.  I'd like to see them have another go at the series in HD, like as a downloadable title or something, but I wouldn't hold my breath :P

So my 44 is Epic Mickey. 43 is the first title with a man from Grenesheller and his apprentice.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

My 44th game is part of a now seemingly dormant franchise that spawned quite a few memorable quotes, one of which in particular found its way into a mainstream arena relatively recently.

F-Zero? (Show me your moves)

#43 Hint (Edit, realized I was looking at the wrong game, my bad): Considered one of the weaker entries in this long-running RPG franchise, it's still a very fun game in its own right. Also the first in the series where you could actually run...

Not sure, Zelda SS?

My next game borrowed a lot of elements form other games that it was so plainly obvious, but still became a awesome game. And the main characters voice will give you eargasim

Uncharted 2?

Yep, and it won't be the only instalment on the list!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
