If somebody can compentely do their job then what is the issue?
There are studies showing assembly line working under the influcense of Marijuana are more productive than those who are not. I also have been told many graphic designers and other in a creative industry use it and are more productive.
But I do not want a pilot stoned. So I think it is not apropriate for some jobs.

I'm not exactly saying it's "right," just saying that it most likely will be the case. I don't really care how stoned the guy who made my sandwich was. But I do believe that employers have a right to decide for themselves whether or not they're okay with their employees being marijuana users -- this is MUCH different from discrimination over sex, race, orientation, etc. People who smoke made the decision to smoke, with the knowledge that it would affect their ability to find employment.
You said yourself that you wouldn't want your pilot to be stoned, so you acknowledge at least that some jobs demand sobriety. I believe that it is the employers' right to decide whether or not theirs is one of those jobs.
