Forums - Sales - Assassins Creed 3 Sells 3M 1st Week - 52/48 Split 360/Ps3.

I'm intrigued by the Liberation figures, which in turn got me thinking about LBP Vita sales.

Did the Liberation bundle come with a digital voucher for the game or a physical copy? I know here in the UK, the LBP Vita bundle came with a download code.

In turn, for bundles like this which do come with a download code, is this counted as a physical sale or not? I assume not, but still.

About the main game sales - I think the PS3 version will leg it out over the 360 version.

AC2 opened with 150k more sales on 360 but PS3 ended up beating the 360 version. Whereas Brotherhood opened almost exactly the same on 360 + PS3 (currently a big gap in favour of 360) and Revelations opened much larger on the 360 but now the gap is less than 30k. Gonna be an interesting one to watch.

I know for a fact it was over 1 million pre orders on 360. its not something I think its something I know

OT that vita number for AC is poor IMO.

I wouldn't say it's poor considering Vita's current install-base, but it's not a breakaway hit that the Vita really needs either.

"Assassin's Creed III Ubisoft's best UK launch ever

New stealth-action game nearly doubles sales of Assassin's Creed II and tops publisher's previous best AC: Revelations by more than 117,000 copies.

Assassin's Creed III got off to a red hot start last week, at least in the United Kingdom. Data for the week ended November 3 from Chart-Track reveals that Assassin's Creed III is Ubisoft's biggest ever launch in the region, almost doubling the sales of Assassin's Creed II at launch in 2009

The game bested previous Ubisoft record holder Assassin's Creed: Revelations by more than 117,000 units. Xbox 360 copies of Assassin's Creed III accounted for 59 percent of sales, with the other 41 percent attributed to PlayStation 3. The game will launch worldwide later this year for Wii U and PC.

Assassin's Creed III is not only breaking records for Ubisoft, but also for the industry at large. The new game is now the second-biggest launch of the year in the UK, only behind FIFA 13."

it must be all those internet buys from the continent

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

Considering Liberation's numbers are around 10k in the UK from the latest charts (from these posts on Neogaf), I would say Europe alone might be 20-30k.

Biggest PS Vita debuts in the UK:

1. Uncharted: Golden Abyss (Sony Computer Ent.) - At least over 34.000 units.
2. Fifa Football (Electronic Arts) - At least over 19.700 units.
3. Assassin's Creed III Liberation (Ubisoft) - below 10.500 units.
4. LittleBigPlanet PS Vita (Sony Computer Ent.) - (11.000 after 2 weeks.)
