And because I'm bored, I thought I'd share some interesting facts about my list before we start:

Amount by Genre:

Sorry Adventure, Miscellaneous, Puzzle, Simulation, and Sports games. You just don't light up my world.

Amount by Year:

2012 hasn't been that stellar thus far, while 2011 and 2007 have been awesome. ^_^

I have a lot of RPGs so I've sub-divided them:
FPS/TPS RPG - 4
Sandbox RPG- 4
Pure RPG- 10

And the rest:
Adventure/Puzzle- 2
FPS- 7
Sandbox - 1
Action/Adventure- 10
2D platformer- 3
Beat em'up- 1
RTS- 6
Racing Sim- 1
Point & Click- 1

I've still got three games I've been playing this year that I'm debating about. Two of them I've yet to complete but based on the experiences so far were fantastic enough to warrant consideration. The other might make number 50.

will be cool to see the roots of where some peoples gaming started off, I'm sure the people who's oldest games are this generation will be brought outside and shot right?... right? wouldn't mind seeing a list completely composed of the yearly Fifa outings heh.

My list is predominantly games from the last 3 gens but I do have a couple of games from the mid-80s (technically one of which came out before I was born). Games were so much simpler then and just pure gameplay that it's difficult not to think fondly of those times.
